Qualifications

  • 5-10+ years of experience preferred
  • Have established key relationships with Clients, Large Account Resellers (LAR), Channels and Vendor Partners
  • Proficiency with CRM for tracking the sales process
  • Familiarity with key solution areas of SharePoint, K2 blackpearl, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, User Experience, Application Development, Azure and Cloud
  • A history of closing deals in the neighborhood from 150k to 1m opportunity size

SharePoint Technical Architect

Chrysalis |BTS is seeking an experienced SharePoint Technical Architect with a strong consulting background to join our growing team. Successful candidates are flexible and strong leaders. Our consultants understand that building rapport with clients, team members, managers, and senior executives is key to managing an effective engagement. Plus, they have a technical knowledge base that runs deep and that they enjoy employing alongside their consulting skills.

In this role you’ll be responsible and accountable for the design and quality of solutions developed with various clients across various industries. Your work will include hands-on development of IT technology solution architectures, leading and mentoring software engineers, as well as management of teams involved in solution development.

Chrysalis | BTS is a SharePoint consulting firm. So you have an excellent knowledge of SharePoint across all versions and platforms. You will work partially at client sites and spend the remainder of time working at our offices. Working remotely is an option.

Ideal Candidates

Agile Project Manager

Chrysalis | BTS is seeking a Project with solid Agile credentials and experience. Our Agile Project Manager is a natural leader, insight-driven, data-inspired and passionate about execution excellence. You’ll act as the key point of contact for clients and the Chrysalis BTS project teams and exercise your listening and collaboration skills to help the team drive to critical decisions.

You have experience working in a complex, cross-functional environment and have extensive working knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices and how to employ them in real-world, client facing engagements. You understand the need to complete projects on time and on budget and take pride in seeing a project through to completion, exceeding both client and team expectations.

In actual practice you may end up playing a number of different roles:

  • At an enterprise level, leading and managing large, complex enterprise-level projects consisting of multiple Agile teams and/or requiring integration with other activities outside the scope of the Agile teams,
  • At a team level, playing a consultative role to help put in place the appropriate people, process, and tools and coaching members of the team as needed to optimize the efficiency of the project team, and
  • In situations that require a hybrid Agile approach, using good judgment and skill to develop a project management approach that is suitable for planning and managing the effort to achieve the project goals within designated project constraints.

In performing these roles, the APM will be expected to use a high level of knowledge and experience in blending traditional project management principles and practices with an Agile development approach in the right proportions to fit large, complex, mission-critical, enterprise-level projects and with the appropriate level of planning and provide the right balance of agility and predictability.

Ideal Candidates

  • Have a solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
  • A proven track record of successfully implementing software and web development projects using Agile, SDLC and Hybrid methodologies including 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager managing concurrent, complex projects in a high-paced environment with multi-function teams.
  • Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects. PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent preferred
  • Experience overseeing multi-function project teams with at least 10-15 team members including Developers, Business Analysts, and QA Personnel
  • Balanced business/technical background:
    • Sufficient level of technical background to provide highly-credible leadership to development teams and to be able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issues
    • Ability to provide leadership to business analysts and collaborate with customers and develop strategies and solutions of high business value

Qualifications

  • BA or BS or equivalent experience is required; MA or MS is a plus.
